That Girl With No Voice Is Gone,

€7,000.00

2024

Mixed media on raw canvas

105 x 137 cm (41.3 × 53.9 inches)

This artwork is a bold declaration of rediscovery and healing. Part of “The Body Keeps the Score” series, explores avoidant attachment, emotional unavailability, and how trauma lingers in the body across generations.

Inscribed text marks a transformation—the artist has reclaimed her voice, no longer bound by past wounds. This voice carries the resilience of ancestors who endured systemic oppression with dignity and strength. Sharp, angular forms reflect the jagged path of detachment, while reds and gold symbolize vitality and self-reclamation. Deep purples and blues ground the piece in inherited pain and the courage to confront it. Symbols on the figure’s face evoke ancestral wisdom, reawakened as a guide for renewal.

This work invites reflection on breaking cycles of silence and endurance as both a personal and collective act—a testament to resilience, reconnection, and truth.

Delivery details will be sent privately to each buyer.
Taxes, shipping and handling is not included.
